Longing for the end, but then it comes too soon!

Today I join my fellow bloggers in "serving up a slice"
to the Tuesday Slice of Life sponsored by
Two Writing Teachers.

A quick attempt to capture some of our end-of-year events
and my longing to slow things down:

Monday evening 8th grade
graduation, today 6th grade
Olympics, tomorrow
yearbooks and carnival!
Thursday's early dismissal,
staff meeting, and p.m. party.
Longing for Friday,
and time to savor
this ending and new beginning.

  1. Hurrah, it sounds like a packed and very good week of celebrations and goodbyes, Ramona. Will miss you this week & will keep in touch!

  2. End of the year is always so hectic - sounds like yours was filled with celebrations! You're totally right - it's an ending and a new beginning all at once.

  3. Endings can be tough, even when you are longing for them. So much anticipation and then it's here. Bam! Hard to appreciate in the craziness. Enjoy and and savor it!

  4. You are going to be exhausted. Lucky you have holidays to recover. Enjoy your exciting week. :)

  5. I hope that as you read this comment you are already relaxing! Enjoy!
