Celebrate This Week: Miles from Home!

Join us each weekend for Celebrate This Week with Ruth Ayres.
When we pause to celebrate, we find the joy.
Discover. Play. Build.
A week filled with moments to celebrate and remember!

I'm not in Washington anymore!  Although as several passengers commented when we stepped off the plane, it sure looked like Seattle.  The gray sky day was punctuated with drizzle and even a few rain showers.  I'm trying not to complain since I know "they" need the rain, but it's not what I planned for a spring break in "sunny" California!   I'm visiting my sister in southern California.  Rain and clouds are predicted for the next four days.  On my return day home, sunshine is in the forecast.  And you guessed it, Washington is currently enjoying a run of sunny days with rain predicted on the day I return!  Today I'm celebrating that the sun actually poked out for a few minutes this morning allowing me to grab a few pics of my environment for the next few days.  Who needs sunshine when you're spending time with your sister?  We have lots of fun activities planned, rain or shine, and of course, lots of time for visiting!

  6. Sun or no sun - being with a sister is a valuable time. And roses too are beutiful in the sun and in the rain.

  7. How wonderful to visit your sister. Only 15 minutes in the sun and you captured the beauty of California that doesn't look like there is a drought. I am hoping that some of these photos will turn into digital inspirations for my newest gallery, Spring's Seeds that I will send out invitations soon.
