Tiny little wonder

So cleverly camouflaged

 Leap to the left, please!

I’m impressed you spotted it. I probably wouldn’t have seen it until it jumped! Thanks for sharing.

  3. I love haikus and yours has inspired me to write a couple about things I saw on my hikes as well. Roadrunners are as camouflaged as your toad-only visible if they are moving. :)

  4. This little one is definitely camouflaged so well in the environment! I am not sure my eyes are good enough to even see it!

  5. The photo-haiku! What a capture in words and images. THIS reminds me: my mom gave me "island," by Kristen Lindquist, a little collection of haiku poems about Monhegan Island in Maine. I just retrieved it. (I had tucked the gift away and haven't read it yet!) Tonight's tranquilo reading before bed!
