Three Word Wisdom
Be a willow! These words of advice come from my husband. I find them so applicable as I face the end of the year. How can I be a willow? Bend, be gentle, be graceful, provide shelter. Great words to guide my work as we face state tests this week, the end of the year challenges, and yes, the occasional mayhem that erupts as the close of the school year draws near. So if you see me muttering to myself, know that I'm chanting this refrain. Bend, be gentle, be graceful, provide shelter. Be a willow!

Wise husband:) and wise words I can apply, too. Bend, be gentle, be graceful, provide shelter...I will be saying them with you.
ReplyDeleteYes, be a willow! That is such great advice! I love it! Many people could learn from this advice!
ReplyDeleteI'm just home from preparing my classroom for testing tomorrow. Taking my own advice, I'm skipping an outside commitment for tonight to be gentle with myself!
