Poetry Friday: Wonders While Walking

 Wonders While Walking

Snakeskin abandoned

I wonder, where is the snake?

Far away, I hope.

I spy . . .  a houseboat?

Fellow walker corrects me

It's a party shack!

Morning walk's treasure

a heart leaf discovery

as love flutters down

  1. Ramona, I always appreciate seeing the wonders found on your walk. Have a lovely weekend. We have an absolutely beautiful sunkissed summer day.

  3. Thanks for sharing, and writing about, your discoveries, all surprises, but that 'party shack' is a big laugh! Happy weekend, Ramona!

  4. Ramona, I love that idea of watching for wonders on a walk. I think we could find them on any walk, and you have paid attention on this one! (I hope the snake stays far away from you!)

  5. Words and images mindfully collected and shared. Revealing and acute obervation, Ramona. Always love hearing about other poets wandering with intention.

  7. Ooh! "love flutters down"
And the double meaning of "wonders" is all kinds of perfection!
