Today I join my fellow bloggers in "serving up a slice" to the Tuesday Slice of Life sponsored by Two Writing Teachers. |
For this post during spring break
Created a book spine poem.
I almost gave up
Posting from strange computer
Then success found me!
Located the pic
But couldn't import to blog
Book spine poem sans pic!
Technology - 1
Me - 0, but after break

Igniting my passion for reading is why I read kid books on my break.
Just finished: heartrending novel-in-verse, Dust of Eden by Mariko Naga about the Japanese internment
Currently reading: Kate Messner's Wake Up Missing
Next in stack: Rooftoppers by Katherine Rundell
Perfect spine poem! Other than the photo glitch I'm hoping this is a great spring break. It's certainly full of reading.
ReplyDeleteI love the book spine poem and look forward to seeing the picture. I definitely spend lots of time reading over breaks. I love Messner's WAKE UP MISSING. It's been quite popular with my 7th graders as well.
ReplyDeleteI keep hearing about Rooftoppers-hope you like it! And sorry for the tech stuff, wondering why it wouldn't work? Keep having fun on your break!
ReplyDeleteI hate it when technology wins! I love the book spine poem - one of the better ones I have seen.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a grand start to your vacay.
ReplyDeleteI love the book spine poems. Great books.
ReplyDeleteI can relate to the "Technology - 1, Me- 0" line! ;-) Your book spine poem turned out great!
