Celebrate This Week

Join us each weekend for Celebrate this week with Ruth Ayres.
When we pause to celebrate, we find the joy.
Discover. Play. Build.
A week filled with moments to celebrate and remember!

1. More pics of Cascadilla Gorge!
I've walked partway up the gorge before, but after Will's graduation
on Sunday we walked down the gorge from Cornell's campus to their home.

2.  Book Swap!
I subbed in the library at Lakeridge Elementary yesterday.  It was exciting to receive the bags of books and smiles from students who will
participate in their upcoming book swap.

3.  Sara and Will are here!
And they're bunking at our house until their moving truck arrives.  Sara says it feels weird to fly home without a return ticket for the first time in ten years.  I think it's lovely that she'll be living twenty minutes away (in good traffic).

  1. Those pictures are beautiful. That gorge seems like such a serene and wonderful little slice of nature. How wonderful for you that your daughter will be close to you. Have a great week!

  4. Ramona, so you made it back to NYS again and visited Cascadilla Gorge. I remember your photo/poem of that last year. Here is my challenge for you: photo #1 looks like a great one to write about. I'm thinking of the water that gushes down at a speed to shower life with possibilities...??? I look forward to another gallery offering from you. Make room Spring's Symphony. Ramona is coming...

  5. What beautiful pictures. I agree with Carol - that would make a great photo/poem! A oneway ticket to home - I am sure that is music to your ears. Enjoy!
