NPM 2017: The Letter V - Verse Novels

My book spine poem for NPM 2017:

She walks in beauty
A jar of tiny stars
Awakening the heart
Opening a door
House of light
Pass the poetry, please!

  1. Verse novels are becoming more and more prolific, aren't they? I've read each one of these, will press you to read Laura Shovan's The Last Fifth Grade of Emerson Elementary, and to look at those by Jeannine Atkins, Helen Frost and Margarita Engle. I know you need more on the list (ha!). Thanks for your list, Ramona. I liked Garvey's Choice very much and enjoyed some of the others.
