For the month of March we are challenging ourselves to write a slice every day.
Slice of Life is sponsored every Tuesday by Stacey and Ruth from Two Writing Teachers.
This poem, composed of inspirational books, features titles that are in descending syllabic order. There's a pattern beginning here - slice, book spine poetry, slice, book spine poetry, slice, book spine poetry. I may need an intervention soon!
How cool is it that you were able to incorporate descending words in the titles to reach that final Joy. Every time I walk by the shelves, my mind is working on how can I use this in a poem. I hope you are sending these in to Travis.ReplyDelete
I love book spine poetry! It is addictive, and you are getting quite accomplished with it.ReplyDelete
I love the "rock solid relationships/for such a time as this", Ramona. You gathered such beautiful lines! I can imagine your house with piles of books on available surfaces! Great stuff!ReplyDelete
You are so creative...and adventurous, too. Awesome!ReplyDelete
I want to borrow some of those! This is great! I tried a book spine poem last March, and I keep thinking I should find a new one this time after seeing what other writers have created.ReplyDelete
"Worn out woman; lighten up." My favorite line tonight! Hoping for more joy tomorrow:)I have seen so many wonderful spine poems; I am wondering would mine be as good???ReplyDelete
