Today I join my fellow bloggers in "serving up a slice"
for hosting this meeting place each Tuesday
and for nurturing our writing lives.
Join us each weekend for Celebrate This Week with Ruth Ayres.
When we pause to celebrate, we find the joy.
A week filled with moments to celebrate and remember
1. Happy Birthday Wishes to Thomas!
It's my nephew's birthday. I still remember how excited I was
to become an aunt for the first time at the ripe old age of 10.
to become an aunt for the first time at the ripe old age of 10.
I'm not revealing his age...because then I'd be revealing my age.
2. 20 Comments Left for Slicer Friends!
I have no idea how LeAnn (Elsie) manages to leave so many comments. I am too easily distracted. One slice leads to the previous one, and then another one, and then I click on the About tab to learn more about this new blogger. I'll never win one of the challenges, but I love getting to know new slicer friends as I meander posts. I'm focusing on new blogger friends this weekend. 3. A Rainbow, Blue Skies, Spring Blossoms,
& a Beautiful Sunrise!
The rainbow pic was taken last Saturday (grocery store parking lot), the sunrise pic was taken this morning (a different grocery store parking lot), and the other pics fell in between those two.
It was quite a week!
After I saw your comment on my first-lines quiz, I went ahead and put an answer key into the comments. Thanks for the feedback!
ReplyDeleteOh Ramona, you are too funny! It appears that I don't have a life in March. :-) Your days are filled with beauty.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a lovely week, and oh, those blooms are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI will never win the commenting challenge, either, but I enjoy reading, thinking, and commenting so much! It is fun to find new friends and revisit familiar friends during March.
ReplyDeleteI'm always posting so late, I barely have time to comment on others, but I enjoy those blogs I've come across. And I sympathize with your frustration with Blogger when you're trying to put in photos. Blogger doesn't allow you to do anything interesting with more than one picture at a time.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely photos of spring in bloom. Still cold here on Long Island, Ramona. You must have a very large file of tree photos.
ReplyDeleteLove the blossoms and beautiful sky! Nature offers such beauty if we take the time to look!
