SOLC 2016 8/31: Celebrating the Fickleness of Mother Nature!

Today I join my fellow bloggers in "serving up a slice"
to the Slice of Life (SOL) community.
Thanks to Stacey, Tara, Betsy, Dana, Beth, and Anna
for hosting this meeting place each day in March
and for nurturing our writing lives.

Can be a challenge

  1. Yep, that's how it goes at my house too, Ramona. Love the pics, sometimes we're cold, then the sun appears, & it's warm!

  2. Wonderful! I love to see how the sky changes in a day.

  3. Such dramatic pictures! Love the haiku that goes along with your changing sky.

  4. Love the writing with the pictures. We had the same thing in Iowa today. It was supposed to be rainy, but so far, I think it's gone around us. Nothing like March weather to keep you guessing!

  5. The pictures add so much to your blog post! Dramatic pictures and haiku!

  6. Love watching the sky when there are beautiful clouds. We were to start having rain at noon too, but it didn't start until about three. You are a very clever writer today!

  7. Our day was much the same here in Mn. - the haiku fit nicely! Thanks

  8. Such beautiful words and images! I'm inspired!

  9. Beautiful words; beautiful images. I'm giggling inside because when I lived out on Cape Cod a couple summers, they'd always say, "If you don't like the weather, wait five minutes." And, here in the Midwest where I live, I hear the same expression. True everywhere? Or most everywhere? The trees in your pictures make me miss the Pacific Northwest. :)

  10. Can I steal this idea? Today (for tomorrow) I wrote about the wind. Weather effects my mood so much!

  11. I'm so glad you included the photographs because they add so much to your piece. I love the haiku and the striking images that go along with your beautiful words.

  12. I love this combination of photographs and haiku! They work together so well. Thank you for sharing.

  13. I love this! I love that you paired the poetry with the pictures, love the time-stamps. Thanks for giving me an idea ... and thanks so much for commenting on my poetry post. You inspired what I wrote yesterday!
