Hannah Coulter by Wendell Berry
(I've wanted to read this for a long time.)
Still Life by Sarah Winman
(A tonic for wanderlust and a cure for loneliness )
The Hazelbourne Ladies Motorcycle and Flying Club by Helen Simonson
(An absolute joy of a book, utterly captivating from the first page)

(newly available in paperback)
Absolution by Alice McDermott
(recommended by a friend)
I purchased two books:

Choosing books is so hard! I walk by several little libraries on my daily dog walks and I always stop to check what's in stock. I've gotten better about not taking books if my pile of "to read" books has gotten too large. So many books and so little time!
ReplyDeleteMy book club read The Berry Pickers last fall and it was very good. I would definitely recommend it.
