Rewards of the easily distracted or how I discovered a graphic zine for kids, "Exploring the Coronavirus," and my Wednesday post all before breakfast on Tuesday morning!
It all started when I read Adrienne's post about her upcoming Battle of the Books.
Then I googled Oregon Battle of the Books so I could see the booklist. (I'm always interested in booklists because even though I'm retired, I'm in year six of running a middle school book club.)
But, before I even looked at the book titles, I noticed a link on their page for Coronavirus Protocol. I'm interested in how organizations are dealing with our current situation. (I'm frustrated that my book club is continuing with our yearly retreat this weekend, especially since several of us are ladies of a certain age determined to be at high risk. I'm not going.)
I read through the Coronavirus Guidelines provided by OBOB (Oregon Battle of the Books) and clicked on the last item. It's the perfect way to share important information about coronavirus in an easily understandable way with the young people in your life.

While I was working on this post, I found a link on NPR. Maybe everyone else has already discovered this zine, but I wanted to share the links and the circuitous way I arrived at this timely information. Here's to the distracted life!
