SOL 26/31: Six Days and Counting!

It's that point in the month
when our heads are filled
with more ideas than days left.

Keep your writing notebook handy
there are 48 SOL Tuesdays
 until it's March again!

And here's a slice
that's been ruminating,
and simmering all month.

I want to address those words
that hook me every time
and lead me to your posts. *

* Please forgive me if you've written a post on one of these topics and I've failed to visit and leave a comment. I never make it all the
way through our lengthy slicer list, but my retired status allows me a bit more time to comment. Here's to five more days of this challenge and then 48 Tuesdays to write and share our writing lives.

  1. It is a challenge to get around to so many writers in March. Even with more time now that I’m on spring break... It’s so distracting when I should be catching up on so many chores!

  2. The fact that there is a lengthy slicer list just shows how many people this challenge touches. Wonderful!

  3. What a variety of topics we all slice about! You've captured them so well. I'm reading all I can but only seem to make a small dent on the list. I'm looking forward to Tuesday's when we can stretch the reading over the week.

  4. I love how you wove the words that hook you into a list poem! Nice!

You're right...one if the best things about this site is how this community continues all year

  5. Ramona, thanks for the neat packaged slice today. From you list, these are the titles that have brought us closer together: Babies, Toddlers, Grandparents, Poetry, Snow days, Springtime, Quiet Time, Reflection. Meeting you F2F this year at NCTE was such a great reunion of grandmas as we exchanged pictures, stories, and learning.

  6. I have to borrow this idea for a list of topics that always make me click! I bet you won't be surprised to know that we share several words in common! And wow, only 48 slices until March? That seems very doable! After writing 31 in a row surely I can write all 48 until March!
