So glad the weather app is wrong some of the time. Today's forecast was for cloudy weather all day. A haiku proves otherwise.
Sunlight beckons me
breathing slows, contentment grows
writing in sunshine.
This is my twelfth year to write a slice of life each day during the month of March. Thank you Two Writing Teachers for creating this challenge and providing the space and support for us year after year. And thanks to this magnificent community for sharing stories with me and encouraging my writing life.
What a lovely haiku! I hope your sunny weather continues. Even when it's cold, if it's sunny, the day seems full of promise.

ReplyDeleteIt's 53 this afternoon and the skies are clear; yet the weather app, until just a little while ago, was predicting rain and cold. And tonight, there is supposed to be snow....I am glad the app is wrong here as well.

ReplyDeleteNice haiku! I love that you had sunshine we had lovely large snowflakes today. Little Man called it Christmas Snow. A great term even if I was looking for spring. Enjoy that sunshine!

ReplyDeleteWe were to have snow last night into this morning. The sun is shining and there is not a flake to be seen. I am not complaining.
