SOL 20/31: A Poetic and Photographic Tribute to Spring

Winter brown transforms to

spectacular, showy blossoms.

Bask in the fleeting beauty for

all too soon the transitory colors

will leave a blossomfall behind.

Green, glorious leaves

will sprout from brown branches

announcing spring's eminence.

  2. Ahhh, spring! So beautiful! We aren't quite this far along yet, but the grass is getting green and things are starting to come up. Tomorrow's forecast is 2-8 inches of snow.

  3. I love the word "blossonfall." Your view of spring is so much better than mine. It's coming though!

    1. And we have "leaffalls" in autumn, coined by my daughter as we watch leaves spinning down in our ravine.
