One of my students sliced about a recent Maroon and White Spirit Day when she showed up at the bus stop dressed almost identically to a male classmate. Oops - and it wasn't even Twin Spirit Day. She wrote about her embarrassment. However, yesterday when three colleagues dressed in teal found ourselves in the office together, we celebrated. And I couldn't resist snapping this picture yesterday of our building principals who had accidentally dressed similarly for the day. MJ says it's because the two of them spend too much time together! Do you have twin clothing stories?

Accidental Twins

Haha...this happens in our building a lot. When students comment we always tell them it's Blue day or twin day and ask them if they got the memo.
ReplyDeleteMy colleague of many years often found ourselves dressing alike-similar colors, etc. Who knows how that happens, but it's funny that the girl was embarrassed. Perhaps it's age that finds it interesting or just silly. Fun to think about!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it odd that happens? I often had the same color on as my room partner. I guess there's some kind of vibe as you pick out your clothes for the day.
ReplyDeleteToo funny! We often have that happen at work. We look at people who aren't dressed alike and say, "Didn't you get the memo?" or, if you are the odd man out it's, "I didn't get the memo!"
