Slice of Life is sponsored every Tuesday by Stacey and Ruth from Two Writing Teachers. For the month of March, I've joined the challenge to post a slice of life daily.
We were fortunate this past summer to participate in a book group for Harvey Daniels' new book Comprehension and Collaboration: Inquiry Circles in Action. We enjoyed meeting several times during the summer to discuss our reading, figure out how to implement our new learnings in the fall, and of course enjoy great conversation and treats.
I was excited to discover that Harvey Daniels would be in the Seattle area in March. Several teachers from our building will be attending the workshop tomorrow. Most of us have tried out some of the ideas in our classrooms. This workshop is a perfect follow-up to our summer book group. What a fantastic opportunity to continue our learning together!
How exciting! That's a great book to add to my TBR pile! (Unfortunately, it's overflowing with great reads!) Hope you share some insights and learnings from the workshop. Also, let us know if you are on Twitter - and a hash tag (#) to follow! (If not, that's okay -- do share here!)
